Sunshine, pleasant temperatures, cider, pintxos and a great atmosphere were the key ingredients that packed Foru plaza yesterday with hundreds of Astigarraga residents and visitors, there to enjoy the big day of Sagar Uzta.
The 26th apple harvest festival filled Plaza Foru on Sunday with ciders from ten cider houses, sagar dantza, pintxos and the traditional community toast
The Usurbil cider house opened its season on 15 January with two former Real Sociedad players and a reunion of the squad that won the league in 1981 and 1982
On Sunday 5 October the herriko plaza (town square) will bring together five Navarrese cider houses, with kirikoketa at midday, and the mushroom day will fill the trinkete with fungi and mushrooms
