The councils of Hernani and Astigarraga yesterday asked the Provincial Council of Gipuzkoa to set up an institutional round table to reflect on the txotx season and the “collateral damage” it causes in these towns, which view “with concern the loss of prestige that cider culture is suffering”.
The mayors of Hernani and Astigarraga, Xabier Lertxundi and Xabier Urdangarin respectively, met Xabier Arruti, the provincial councillor for Green Territorial Balance, and urged him to set up the forum this very year.
