In a recent video, Ibaibarriaga showed how to enjoy a cider house on a Sunday, giving his followers a complete guide to making this tradition memorable.

The content creator’s first tip was to enjoy the ride on the Sagardobus, the transport service linking different cider houses across the province. He said that before reaching the cider house, a stop in San Sebastián is ideal to get to know the area and sample pintxos (Basque bar snacks) with txakoli, a local wine. However, the most important point was choosing a good cider house. Ibaibarriaga went for Oianume, in Urnieta, highlighting the dishes no cider house should be without: chorizo, salt cod omelette and the classic T-bone steak (txuleta).

Throughout the video, Ibaibarriaga shared further recommendations, such as paying attention to how the meat is cooked, which should be perfectly medium, and how to enjoy cheese, quince paste and walnuts for dessert the traditional way, with your hands. He also pointed out that cider is unlimited at these places, but advised not filling your glass more than a third so that it does not warm up too much.

Finally, the influencer stressed the importance of drinking responsibly. “If you drink, don’t drive,” he said, suggesting that his followers leave the travelling to the bus and focus on enjoying the experience without worries.
