It is not the first time Zapiain has received an award, but it is worth noting that the 2024 harvest has been truly abundant. In May 2024, Zapiain also won the award for the best natural cider at the world’s largest cider competition, the Great Lakes International Cider Competition in Michigan (USA), and was named International Cidery of the Year.

The Zapiain cider house takes the award
The Zapiain cider house in Astigarraga has received the award for the most abundant harvest. It won three prizes in the competition organised by the Gipuzkoa Provincial Council, and at the world’s largest cider competition, held in the United States, it was named cider house of the year.
