Organised by Sagardoaren Lurraldea, the awards ceremony of the Sagardo Forum’s 4th International Cider Competition was held last weekend at the Kursaal Congress Centre in San Sebastián. Renowned judges from around the world tasted the 262 ciders entered in 9 categories, 202 of which received awards: 59 gold, 67 silver and 76 bronze medals. The ‘Best of show’ award went to Replicant Pinot Noir cider by Pomologik.

Zapiain Sagardotegia wins an award at the Sagardo Forum cider competition
The Astigarraga cider house won the natural cider category, while a Swedish cider took the prize in the main competition.
