With sunshine and pleasant temperatures, Zarautz enjoyed a perfect day on Sunday to celebrate its long-awaited Sagardo Eguna (Cider Day), which had to be called off last month because of strong gusts of wind. The event, which honours the region’s cider-making tradition, brought together hundreds of people who were able to enjoy the new season’s cider.

Eight local cider makers took part in the celebration, offering visitors a taste of their best cider. The festive atmosphere, with good music and food, made the wait worthwhile and confirmed Sagardo Eguna as one of the most eagerly awaited events of the year in Zarautz.
