Some 4,000 people and 32 cider houses, with nearly 6,000 bottles. Fruit growers from Fruitel-ENBA stayed away in protest at the price of apples.
About the event
The biggest Sagardo Eguna (Cider Day): on the Saturday of the Euskal Jaiak (Basque festival), more than thirty cider houses fill the Plaza de la Constitución with cider from the previous harvest, Eusko Label pintxos, Idiazabal cheese and the first must of the new harvest.
