What it is like

Led by the cider maker, you visit Oiharte’s orchards, the farmhouse cider presses, the production area and the cellar, and taste the house cider the way it is drunk here, bottled and straight from the cask, with a pintxo. Then comes the traditional cider house menu, with chargrilled T-bone steak.

There are two options, from January to May: making your own way, at 12.30 pm at the cider house (about three hours; 65 euros for adults, 56 for young people aged 14 to 17 and 30 for children aged 4 to 13), or with transport and a guide from San Sebastián, at 12 noon (four and a half hours; 83, 73 and 55 euros). It is offered in Basque, Spanish, English or French.
