What it is like

Oiharte is in Zerain, surrounded by mountains, and its cellar is dug into the hillside behind the farmhouse. The guided tour follows the cider’s journey from the orchard to the barrel and ends with a tasting of several ciders and an aperitif served by the owners, Maite and Haritz.

It runs from January to May, on Saturdays and Sundays at 12 noon, in Basque, Spanish or English; other times and private visits on request. It costs 20 euros for adults, 15 for young people aged 14 to 17 and 10 for children aged 4 to 13.
