For us in particular, it came as a shock to find, back in distant 2010, an article in the New York Times in which the critic Eric Asimov (an old acquaintance of our website and, yes, a relative of the scientist, writer and creator of the “Three Laws of Robotics”, Isaac Asimov) recommended a Basque cider for Thanksgiving.

Urdaburu Mendizale Elkartea has organised a lunch at the Larregain cider house for 9 March. Participants will meet at Urdaburu’s premises (Juan de Olazabal 23) at 8.30 in the morning, as they will first walk a 14.5-kilometre route with 800 metres of ascent, taking about 5 hours.
