What it is like

A day that brings together the past and present of cider. It starts at 10 am at Igartubeiti, in Ezkio, a 16th-century farmhouse with a large cider press inside, now a museum, where you taste the apple must. At 12 noon it continues at Oiharte, in Zerain, with a guided tour of the cider house, a cider tasting with an aperitif and the traditional cider house menu.

It runs from January to May, in Basque, Spanish or English, and you make your own way to both meeting points. It costs from 68 euros for adults, 58 for young people aged 14 to 17 and 33 for children aged 4 to 13.
