Tolosa market and cider cellar, with meal

Saturday is market day in Tolosa, and this experience makes the most of it: at 10:30, at the tourist office, a guided walk begins through the stalls that local producers set up every week and through the old town. At 12:30 it continues at Aburuza, in Aduna, with a cellar tour, an explanation of how Basque cider is made, a tasting of bottled cider and cider from the kupela (cask), and the traditional cider house menu (or the vegetarian or vegan one). It ends back in San Sebastián.

It takes about five hours, every Saturday of the year, in Basque, Spanish, English or French. The published price, €64 per adult (€50 for ages 14 to 17 and €28 for ages 4 to 13), is for groups of at least ten people.
