About Alorrenea cider house
A cider house open all year round. It offers the chance to taste traditionally made cider straight from the kupela (cask).
All year round you can enjoy its natural cider, made on the premises using traditional methods. The service is attentive, with a family touch. Not to be missed is the ox T-bone steak (txuleta), a speciality and another of the house’s hallmarks. Alorrenea cider holds the Gorenak quality certification.

At Alorrenea the family oversees the whole process, from orchard to bottle: it bottles Alorrenea Euskal Sagardoa and a Premium version, both with Designation of Origin (DO) status.

Alorrenea’s own house cider
As well as a cider house, it’s a cider maker: it makes its own cider, and what’s served at the table comes from its own cellar.

- DO Euskal Sagardoa Designation of origin for natural Basque cider: only apples of local varieties grown in Álava, Bizkaia, Gipuzkoa and the French Basque Country. The seal goes on each bottle, not on the cider maker.
