About Altzueta Euskal Sagardoa

Altzueta’s natural cider, from Hernani, under the Euskal Sagardoa designation of origin: made only from local apple varieties, having passed the designation’s lab and tasting checks. The family was already selling cider in 1878, and the fourth generation runs it today.

It is the bottle for taking Osinaga’s cider home. Serve it cool, in a wide glass, poured from a height, a little at a time.

Its quality labels

  • DO Euskal Sagardoa Designation of origin for natural Basque cider: only local apples from registered orchards in Álava, Bizkaia and Gipuzkoa, not pasteurised and with no added gas. The French Basque Country joins through the cross-border PDO, pending in the EU. The seal goes on each bottle, not on the cider maker.
