What it is like

Añota calls it the “Txotx” experience: a guided tour of the cider house cellar, in Azpeitia, with a Basque cider tasting of at least half an hour, which ends the way the house does it, with the cry of “txotx!” beside the kupela (cask) and a chorizo pintxo. There is grape must for children.

It is booked through the contact page, and times are adapted to groups and families. From September to mid-January there are no cellar visits, as that is when the apples are harvested and the cider is made. The website does not publish a price.
