About Aburuza Euskal Sagardoa Premium

The Premium version of Aburuza’s Euskal Sagardoa, the one with the gold mark: as well as meeting the designation of origin rules, it has scored over 75 points on the Fraisoro tasting panel, which judges strength, colour, harmony and how long the flavour lasts.

It comes from the same local apples as the house Euskal Sagardoa, but from the batches that score best in that tasting. It deserves an unhurried meal, along the lines of a cider house menu.

Its quality labels

  • DO Euskal Sagardoa Designation of origin for natural Basque cider: only local apples from registered orchards in Álava, Bizkaia and Gipuzkoa, not pasteurised and with no added gas. The French Basque Country joins through the cross-border PDO, pending in the EU. The seal goes on each bottle, not on the cider maker.
