About Gartziategi Anne (crianza)

Anne is Gartziategi’s aged cider: a cider with the Euskal Sagardoa DO that the house presents in a dark wine bottle, with the words “Sagar Ardoa” (apple wine) on the label. The shop does not say how long or where it is aged.

Given the presentation, and since it costs almost three times the house’s natural cider, it is a bottle for the table or for a gift rather than for every day.

Its quality labels

  • DO Euskal Sagardoa Designation of origin for natural Basque cider: only local apples from registered orchards in Álava, Bizkaia and Gipuzkoa, not pasteurised and with no added gas. The French Basque Country joins through the cross-border PDO, pending in the EU. The seal goes on each bottle, not on the cider maker.
