About Zelaia Euskal Sagardoa

Zelaia’s cider with the Euskal Sagardoa Designation of Origin, made from native apples. Like all the house’s ciders, each batch passes the Fraisoro laboratory tasting panel before it leaves.

It is sold in 75 cl bottles, in cases of 6 and 12, and also in 33 cl cans, in cases of 12. The bottle is served cool and poured from a height; the can is for taking along.

Its quality labels

  • DO Euskal Sagardoa Designation of origin for natural Basque cider: only local apples from registered orchards in Álava, Bizkaia and Gipuzkoa, not pasteurised and with no added gas. The French Basque Country joins through the cross-border PDO, pending in the EU. The seal goes on each bottle, not on the cider maker.
