About Gurutzeta Euskal Sagardoa Bio
A cider with the Euskal Sagardoa DO that Gurutzeta sells as “Bio”, made from organically grown apples from the Monjardin farmhouse in Segura, where the errexila variety dominates. Gurutzeta describes it as fruity and balanced, with a clean aroma, and says it goes with almost any dish. 75 cl bottle, 6% ABV.
Like the rest of the range, it is sold in boxes of six or twelve bottles on the cider house’s website.

Its quality labels
- DO Euskal Sagardoa Designation of origin for natural Basque cider: only local apples from registered orchards in Álava, Bizkaia and Gipuzkoa, not pasteurised and with no added gas. The French Basque Country joins through the cross-border PDO, pending in the EU. The seal goes on each bottle, not on the cider maker.
