Specialities
On Thursdays we have a 20 menu
Gurutzeta focuses its work on bottled cider: it makes Gurutzeta Euskal Sagardoa and an organic version with apples from the Munjardin farmhouse in Segura, which it sells in the shop on its website. Outside the season it opens for bottle sales, visits and tastings.
From tree to bottle
Gurutzeta’s own house cider
As well as a cider house, it’s a cider maker: it makes its own cider, and what’s served at the table comes from its own cellar.
Quality labels
- DO Euskal Sagardoa Designation of origin for natural Basque cider: only apples of local varieties grown in Álava, Bizkaia, Gipuzkoa and the French Basque Country. The seal goes on each bottle, not on the cider maker.
- Organic production Cider certified as organic by the body in its territory: Ekolurra, CPAEN, COPAE, CRAEGA or AB in the French Basque Country.
- Gorenak Quality mark of the Provincial Council of Gipuzkoa for agri-food products from Gipuzkoa.
