About Oiharte Euskal Sagardoa

The Euskal Sagardoa Designation of Origin cider from Oiharte, the 18th-century farmhouse in Zerain, in the Goierri district: native apples and the DO’s checks. It is the house’s natural cider, the one with the white label.

It comes in a 75 cl bottle, to serve cool and poured from height at the table, and also in a 44 cl can.

Its quality labels

  • DO Euskal Sagardoa Designation of origin for natural Basque cider: only local apples from registered orchards in Álava, Bizkaia and Gipuzkoa, not pasteurised and with no added gas. The French Basque Country joins through the cross-border PDO, pending in the EU. The seal goes on each bottle, not on the cider maker.
