About Saizar Euskal Sagardoa
Saizar’s cider with the Euskal Sagardoa Designation of Origin, made 100 % from native apples. Much of the fruit comes from the 16 hectares of orchard the family owns in Usurbil, next to the cellar; to carry the DO’s numbered seal, each batch passes physical, chemical and sensory tests.
It is sold in 75 cl bottles, in a case of 6 or a gift box of 4. A natural table cider, to be served cool and poured from a height.

Its quality labels
- DO Euskal Sagardoa Designation of origin for natural Basque cider: only local apples from registered orchards in Álava, Bizkaia and Gipuzkoa, not pasteurised and with no added gas. The French Basque Country joins through the cross-border PDO, pending in the EU. The seal goes on each bottle, not on the cider maker.
