About Saizar Red Bay

Natural cider with the Euskal Sagardoa Designation of Origin in a 44 cl can, which Saizar sells in cases of 6. The name and the whale on the can recall the Basque whalers who crossed the Atlantic to Red Bay, on the coast of Labrador (Canada), with cider on board.

The can makes it easy to take DO cider on an outing or anywhere a whole bottle won’t be opened.

Its quality labels

  • DO Euskal Sagardoa Designation of origin for natural Basque cider: only local apples from registered orchards in Álava, Bizkaia and Gipuzkoa, not pasteurised and with no added gas. The French Basque Country joins through the cross-border PDO, pending in the EU. The seal goes on each bottle, not on the cider maker.
