About Petritegi D.O. Premium

A limited edition the Otaño family selects from among its best Designation of Origin ciders. It is a natural cider of native apples kept on its lees, which gives it more body and more pronounced fruit aromas; 6 % ABV.

The black bottle is meant for the table: Petritegi suggests serving it in a thin glass or a wine glass, at 10–13 °C, using the pourer cap. It has silver medals from the International Cider Challenge (UK, 2025) and NICA in Riga (2023).

Its quality labels

  • DO Euskal Sagardoa Designation of origin for natural Basque cider: only local apples from registered orchards in Álava, Bizkaia and Gipuzkoa, not pasteurised and with no added gas. The French Basque Country joins through the cross-border PDO, pending in the EU. The seal goes on each bottle, not on the cider maker.
