About Zapiain Euskal Sagardoa

Zapiain’s cider with the Euskal Sagardoa Designation of Origin, made 100 % from local apples, with quality guaranteed by the DO. Like the house Gorenak, it keeps the natural carbon dioxide from fermentation and has no added sulphites.

It is sold in 75 cl bottles, in cases of 6 or 12. Served cool, poured from a height into a wide glass.

Its quality labels

  • DO Euskal Sagardoa Designation of origin for natural Basque cider: only local apples from registered orchards in Álava, Bizkaia and Gipuzkoa, not pasteurised and with no added gas. The French Basque Country joins through the cross-border PDO, pending in the EU. The seal goes on each bottle, not on the cider maker.
