Monday, the Pilar bank holiday and last day of the fiestas. At the same time, some 15 craft stalls in the playground; at 11:45, a Basque rural sports exhibition with wood choppers and stone lifters, and at 12:00 the 27th inter-society bacalao al pil-pil contest.
About the event
On the last day of the Martu Jaiak, the Pilar fiestas of San Sebastián’s Martutene neighbourhood, the playground of the Arantzazuko Ama ikastola becomes a cider house by mid-morning. Twelve cider houses pour, eight of them from Astigarraga, just across the Urumea river, alongside local farm produce, craft stalls and, as every year, the Arrastaka trikitixa players.
Participating cider houses
The ones from the directory bringing their cider to this edition.
